  • Experience in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale purchasing contracts or software agreements.
  • Experience in positioning and selling innovative solutions to new customers and market segments, including procurement (direct awards, tenders, public marketplaces).
  • Ability to think and work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects.

The Customer Advisor will ensure recommended solutions meet our customers’ procurement needs, and will suggest approaches and alternatives suitable for their environment and industry.

Our new team member will work closely with customers to manage deployment and ensure successful adoption of our solutions.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Engagement to help customers design and implement solutions addressing their procurement challenges.
  • Drive and accelerate spend adoption by advising customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions.
  • Deliver accurate weekly reports on growth pipeline and customer spend adoption.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and leadership to provide updates and insights.
  • Focus on automating service needs for customers, working with Product Management and Technical teams to develop solutions.
  • Meet or exceed targets for customer and feature spend adoption.
  • Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams.
  • Maintain knowledge of procurement practices (e.g., contracting) and source-to-pay processes and solutions.
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate discipline in achieving goals.
  • Proven ability to influence others.
  • Strong ownership, bias for action, and willingness to roll up sleeves.
