The Custom Standard Test HSE Specialist is responsible for spreading HSE culture within the testing area, collaborating in the research of any potential gaps, and serving as the reference person for executing the HSE roadmap. Individuals with expertise in air, water, waste, hazardous materials transportation, product regulation (REACH, WEE, RoHs, etc.), and sustainable development (CSR) and supplier management are encouraged to apply.

You will be responsible for:

• Elaborating proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures, and processes in your field.
• Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.
• Contributing to projects as a team member. Work goals typically take 1-3 months to complete, with results seen immediately or within 1-2 months.
• Leading the definition of the Cell HSE roadmap for the testing area.
• Leading the execution of the HSE roadmap for the testing area.
• Maintaining a constant presence in the shop to oversee daily operational aspects.
• Being proactive in leading HSE continuous improvements following the Process Safety model.
• Having a true passion for HSE culture.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety) and at least 5 years experience in operational activities.
• Have the ability to analyze complex issues and decompose them into a manageable set of tasks.
• Demonstrate experience in leading projects with global teams.
• Have a clear thinking attitude with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Be able to fluently speak and write in English.
• Be a motivated self-starter, proactively taking initiative to lead and solve problems through collaboration.
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and demonstrate the ability to interact positively with both internal and external parties.
