Pete Tong DJ Academy is hiring a CTO to own the platform behind PTDJA and turn it into a product members love. You will evolve an integrations-first stack into proprietary product machines, while building a data platform powering growth decisions. You report to the CEO and will hire the founding engineering team.

Based in Rome or willing to relocate, you will lead a lean web/IT function and guide a fast, pragmatic engineering culture, with on-site or hybrid work options.

Competenze

• 8+ years in software and product engineering with leadership experience.
• Shipped consumer-facing products with real users and revenue.
• Experience assembling SaaS building blocks (billing, community, CRM, automation).
• Fluent in modern web stack (TypeScript, React, Node or similar).
• Designed event tracking and owned a data warehouse and product analytics.
• AI shipped to production with measurable quality.
• Comfortable leading a small team of 2–6 engineers.

Mansioni

• Own platform architecture and integrations (community, billing, CRM, marketing).
• Develop proprietary product roadmap: profile pages, release manager, gig finder, event tools.
• Build and manage data platform: event tracking, warehouse, analytics, single source of truth.
• Lead AI in production: AI feedback, AI-first support, personalization.
• Ensure security, GDPR, uptime; manage tech budget; hire the founding engineers.
