Job summary

Mercury cerca un Ingegnere CSA a Milano per guidare pacchetti civili e concrete, coordinando sicurezza, QA e schedule in stretta collaborazione con il CSA Project Manager e i clienti.

La funzione richiede capacità di gestione di costi, subappaltatori e deliverables di progetto, oltre a supportare la progettazione e le attività sul cantiere per garantire risultati puntuali e conformi. Verranno svolte riunioni settimanali di avanzamento e segnalazioni di eventuali deviazioni.

Responsibilities

• Gestione dei pacchetti Civils & Concrete sotto il tuo controllo, riportando al CSA Project Manager.
• Gestione della sicurezza di cantiere con Project Manager, CSA Manager e Mercury Safety Advisor; allestimento, gestione e chiusura del fascicolo di sicurezza.
• Gestione QA con Mercury QA Manager includendo impostazione, gestione e chiusura del fascicolo; garantire che l'appaltatore segua le procedure QA/QC Mercury.
• Gestione del cronoprogramma di progetto insieme al CSA Project Manager, al Project Manager, all'ingegnere consulente e alle esigenze del cliente.
• Rapporti settimanali su eventi di cantiere con impatto economico al CSA Manager per costi e richieste di risarcimento.
• Assistenza nella gestione di deliverables di progetto CSA: revisioni disegni, submission tecniche e marcature per evidenziare difetti.
• Mantenere il legame tra informazione di progetto e disegni di costruzione, identificando gap.
• Gestione costi pacchetto: team, subappaltatori, materiali, impianti, variazioni, valutazioni.
• Gestione operazioni di cantiere quotidiane e del team di supervisione CSA Mercury.
• Gestione attività subappaltatori: monitoraggio avanzamento rispetto al programma e staff; garantire riunioni settimanali.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

• Management of the Civils & Concrete packages under your control, reporting to the CSA Project Manager.
• Management of Site Safety in conjunction with the Project Manager, CSA Manager and the Mercury Safety Advisor. This will include the setup, management of and closing out of the safety file as part of the Management team.
• Management of QA in conjunction with Mercury QA Manager including set up, management and close out of file. Responsible for making sure the subcontractor follows Mercury QA/QC procedures. Responsible for performing due diligence on Supervisors checklists and make sure it is up to the required standard. Promotion of the Mercury engineering ethos regarding quality and safety.
• Management of Project Schedule in conjunction with Mercury CSA Project Manager, Project manager, consulting Engineer and Client requirements. Responsible for making sure the subcontractor submits their program and meets/exceeds baseline program or escalation on time.
• Report on a weekly basis, any site events that have a commercial impact to the project: deviations, variations, delays to the CSA Manager to ensure all costs are captured and claimed, if applicable.
• Assist with the Management of all design deliverables related to the CSA package. Review drawings, technical submissions, assistance, and preparation as required of mark‑ups to highlight deficiencies and orientate subcontractors and subconsultants. Review of construction details and setting out details. Responsible to maintain the link between design information and construction drawings, making sure any gaps are correctly identified and produced prior starting on site.
• Assist with the management of all costs associated with your package including:
• Mercury civil Team
• Sub-contractors
• Material deliveries and goods receipting.
• Plant and Equipment
• Variations
• Valuations
• Management of all day‑to‑day site operations, including the Mercury CSA site supervision team. Management of site coordination between CSA subcontractors and interfaces. Attendance to site coordination meetings as representative.
• Management of sub‑contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and staffing levels. Ensure that there is a weekly minuted meeting with sub‑contractor, tracking the following topics
