Safilo, a leading eyewear company, seeks a Credit Collector to help recover credits by contacting debtors and negotiating payments. The role is based at our HQ in Padua with direct involvement in the Credit Area.

Ideal candidates are native French speakers with fluent English, solid negotiation skills, and experience meeting tight deadlines. A bachelor/master in economics is preferred, with MS Office proficiency and teamwork emphasis.

Who We Are Looking For

We are currently looking for a Credit Collector in the Credit Area. Main duty will be to help our company collect its credits with the responsibility of contacting debtors and negotiate payments. The position is based in our HQ in Padua.

As a Credit Collector, You Will Be Responsible For

• Tracking outstanding debts, locate and contact debtors;
• Create and implement debt collection courses of action, negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans;
• Handle customers' questions or complaints;
• Update account status and balances regularly;
• Comply with legal requirements in cooperation with French local colleagues.

You Are The Person We Are Looking For If

• You are a native speaker in French;
• You are fluent in English (any other language is a plus);
• You have experience in working with tight deadlines;
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office;
• You possess good negotiation skills and you are a team player;
• You have good time-management, interpersonal and communication skills;
• You have 2 years of experience as credit collector (ideally);
• You have a bachelor/master’s degree in economics.
