Job Description

Reporting to the Collection Manager, the resource is a member of the Collection Team.

The Retail Credit Collection Team covers the full area of lending (Residential Mortgages, Credit Cards, Overdrafts, and Personal Loans) to collect all the credit of ING Italy. The Credit and Collection Data Analyst Specialist is responsible for updating and maintaining the Local Retail Credit Collection Policy, defining credit strategies for engaging Debt Collection Agencies, overseeing governance on external providers and Law Firms, creating specific processes to prioritize new activities, and achieving Collection and KPI goals (local and global).

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing collection strategies, rules, and workflows
  • Governance, monitoring, and optimization of collection processes
  • Managing relationships with relevant stakeholders locally and at Head Office
  • Collaborating on the preparation of the Top Management information pack

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in retail credit and collection risk banking sector
  • Good knowledge of regulatory frameworks
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze, interpret, and elaborate data
  • Understanding of key drivers within the Italian unsecured lending and mortgage markets
