We’re hiring a Creative Lead to own and evolve the n8n brand across every touchpoint — from digital to motion to real-world experiences.

As our first dedicated creative hire, you’ll take full ownership of n8n’s visual identity and brand guidelines, bringing consistency, clarity, and ambition to our global presence. You’ll collaborate with Marketing, Design, DevRel, and Communications teams to deliver scalable brand work and partner with top-tier freelancers and agencies to expand our creative reach.

We’re looking for someone comfortable crafting visuals and directing others, able to move fast, raise the bar, and scale creative efforts through systems, processes, and influence.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the brand of one of the world’s most-loved open source developer tools and lay the foundation for future growth.

What You’ll Do

  1. Own the n8n visual brand — including brand guidelines, creative direction, and quality across all channels and formats (static, motion, video, OOH)
  2. Ensure consistency and clarity across campaigns, social media, website, employer branding, and events
  3. Act as the creative partner for strategic brand moments — conferences, launches, influencer collaborations, and community initiatives
  4. Manage and scale our creative partner network, onboarding and leading freelancers and agencies for specialized formats (e.g., decks, YouTube intros, motion, social)
  5. Build and evolve brand processes — setting expectations, aligning timelines, and creating systems for high-velocity, high-quality work
  6. Create hands-on work — assets, templates, mockups, and visual storytelling — setting standards for creative excellence

What we’re looking for

Must-have:

  • 8+ years in creative, brand, or visual design roles (preferably B2B SaaS or devtools)
  • 4+ years in a lead position managing end-to-end projects
  • A portfolio demonstrating excellent brand craft across web, campaigns, and systems
  • Proven ability to drive brand strategy and execute hands-on
  • Experience managing creative vendors (freelancers, agencies)
  • High attention to detail, clarity of thought, and visual storytelling skills
  • Fluent in async, remote collaboration

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with devtools, open source, or technical audiences
  • Motion/video storytelling skills (hands-on or via partners)
  • Experience with brand evolutions or rebrands
  • Employer branding or talent marketing experience
  • Interest in systems, processes, and scaling creative functions
