IPS Powerful People is seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Operator for a micro tunneling project in Albi, France. The role includes safely operating a crawler crane, conducting inspections, and ensuring efficient collaboration with tunneling teams. Accommodation and travel are provided, with opportunities for longer projects.

Competenze

Short description

We are seeking an experienced Crawler Crane Operator to support a micro tunneling project in Albi, France. The operator will be responsible for safely operating a crawler crane to assist with lifting operations related to the AVN1600 machine and associated tunneling equipment.

Function description

• Operate crawler crane (70 tons) to lift and position heavy components including pipes, TBM parts, and support equipment.
• Work closely with the tunneling and pit teams to ensure safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Conduct daily inspections and routine maintenance of the crane.
• Follow all site safety protocols and lifting plans.
• Assist with rigging and signaling as needed.

Requirements

• Valid crawler crane operator license/certification (EU-recognized).
• Proven experience operating crawler cranes on tunneling or heavy civil projects.
• Familiarity with AVN machines and micro tunneling operations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of French or English for site communication.
• Work permit in France (mandatory)
• Self-employed / company registration proof or willing to obtain it (mandatory)
