Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Retail experience is preferred but not required

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags.
3. Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Offer help to customers with loading bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
6. Return merchandise to shelves and gather/basket carts.
7. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store, including spills and trash.
8. Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
9. Conduct price checks and reinforce safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
10. Adhere to food safety regulations and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
11. Create a welcoming environment, assist customers, and follow all laws and guidelines.
12. Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflicts, and act with integrity.
13. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults as needed.
14. Perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
