We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Country Sales Manager for Italy to lead and scale our B2B sales operations in one of our most promising markets. This leadership role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about growing business through high-impact sales initiatives, exceptional client relationships, and team empowerment.

What To Expect

  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and support a high-performing sales team. Promote a collaborative, results-driven culture and provide clear direction and development opportunities. Ensure internal knowledge sharing by managing country-specific insights and keeping the team aligned through a structured knowledge base.
  • Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement the B2B sales strategy for the Italian market in line with regional objectives. Drive targeted initiatives to increase customer acquisition and revenue growth and lead the entire sales cycle, including presentations, contract negotiations, and closing deals at all levels of management.
  • Pipeline & Performance Management: Monitor the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and ensure team performance is aligned with targets. Use CRM tools and data insights to track progress and improve conversion rates.
  • Customer Acquisition & Relationship Building: Identify and close new business opportunities while managing and nurturing relationships with key customers. Act as a trusted advisor to clients and ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Market Insights & Competitive Positioning: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and local market dynamics. Use this knowledge to adapt sales tactics and strengthen the company’s market position in Italy.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to align on messaging, tailor offerings to local needs, and ensure smooth execution across the customer journey.
  • Country Representation: Serve as the face of Wemolo in Italy. Represent the company externally with professionalism, embodying its vision and values, and maintaining deep knowledge of the business and its strategic direction. You support relationships management with local stakeholders (e.g. lawyers, tax advisors, authorities).

Inspire us by

  • Background: You have at least 4 years of experience in B2B sales with mid- and enterprise customers and have already gained some management experience - (ideally you were able to do this in a fast-growing, dynamic environment)
  • Experience: You have a track record of success in sales and in managing the entire sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Drive and a commitment to excellence: You are highly self-motivated, take initiative, and consistently strive for outstanding results in everything you do.
  • Strong conceptual and strategic thinking: You can see the big picture, develop clear strategies, and translate complex ideas into actionable plans.
  • Leadership and Teamwork: You have experience in leading and managing a team and know how to coordinate different team members with each other
  • Structures and KPIs: You continuously track your goals on a weekly, monthly & quarterly basis (individual & team level) and report them to your manager
  • Language: You are a native speaker of Italian and fluent in English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
  • Readiness to travel: You have a valid driver's license and are willing to travel to Munich on a regular basis
  • Ideally, Italy is your home ground and you have a strong network within the country that helps you to accelerate growth
