Job Description

As Country Manager – Italy, you will lead sales, operations, and engineering to drive business growth, operational excellence, and technical leadership in one of Europe’s key markets. You will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling our newly established legal entity in Italy, with a primary focus on business development, revenue generation, and building a strong local presence.

Key Responsibilities :

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive rapid revenue growth and ensure alignment across the organization.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities, build key client relationships, and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and deal closures.
  • Represent the company at industry events and actively promote brand visibility.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform business decisions.

Operational & Leadership Responsibilities

  • Create a customer-focused, entrepreneurial culture and foster a motivational team environment.
  • Lead and develop the future team across Sales, Operations, and Engineering to meet performance targets.
  • Oversee the legal entity setup and ensure regulatory compliance in collaboration with global support functions.
  • Build a strong working relationship with internal shared services
  • Develop scalable, efficient operational processes to support market growth.
  • Manage budgeting, financial planning, and reporting in line with regional goals.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in scaffolding, construction, or industrial equipment sales & operations.
  • Strong network within the scaffolding, construction, and industrial sectors.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Engineering).
  • Deep understanding of the local market, business culture, and regulatory landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with a hands-on approach.
