Summary :
We're seeking a Country Manager to oversee and grow our operations within the Regional Center Western Europe. This role combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, covering team leadership, budget management, and market expansion. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, focused on strengthening our position and accelerating growth in Italy.
Lead the technical and personnel operations of the photovoltaic division in Italy, overseeing both the sales team and, when necessary, the project development team. Hold full accountability for sales performance, profitability, and market growth in Italy. Gradually assume overall management responsibilities for the national subsidiary. Drive the strategic development of the business unit, enhancing market presence and competitive positioning. Lead the acquisition and negotiation of EPC contracts for both ground-mounted and commercial rooftop PV systems. Coordinate and support internal and external project developers to ensure successful project execution. Proactively identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. Manage divisional budgets, staffing, and performance targets. Collaborate with corporate departments on legal, reporting, and financial control matters. Represent the company at key trade fairs, industry events, and conferences.
Who we are looking for :
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, ideally including leadership responsibilities. Comprehensive understanding of the PV industry, including expertise in tendering processes and contract negotiations. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a confident, results-oriented sales approach. Fluency in both English and Italian Strong network within the Italian PV sector and a solid grasp of local market dynamics. Willingness to travel frequently within Italy and internationally.
