Country Manager – Italy (Remote from Italy)

At Landatu Solar, we are seeking a proactive and solution-oriented individual passionate about solar energy to lead our expansion into the Italian market. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to build and grow a new market presence from the ground up.

Who are we? Landatu Solar is a young, innovative engineering company based in Bilbao, Spain, with offices in Madrid and Bilbao. We develop and manufacture patented floating solar systems, anchoring technologies, and structural solutions for flat surfaces. Our strong R&D culture drives us to face new technical and commercial challenges daily, aiming to enable solar deployment in areas where traditional systems cannot reach. Our solutions, such as Landblock and Lamaru, are expanding solar accessibility both in Spain and internationally.

What are we looking for? We need a highly motivated individual to lead the opening of our Italian market, taking ownership of all commercial activities. This strategic role offers high autonomy and is ideal for someone eager to make a significant impact and drive growth in the region. Responsibilities include developing and executing our commercial strategy, identifying opportunities, building relationships, and establishing Landatu as a trusted brand in Italy’s solar market.

Your day-to-day tasks include:

  1. Developing and leading Landatu Solar's commercial activities in Italy.
  2. Identifying and pursuing business opportunities with EPCs, developers, installers, and distributors.
  3. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
  4. Representing Landatu Solar at industry events, fairs, and client meetings.
  5. Coordinating with the Spanish headquarters on technical adaptations and business support.
  6. Shaping product positioning and market entry strategies.
  7. Tracking and reporting on market trends and competitor activity.

Who are you?

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the solar PV industry.
  • Experience with mounting structures or BOS solutions is a plus.
  • Deep understanding of the Italian solar market (regulations, key players, trends).
  • Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus.
  • Based in Italy and willing to travel as needed.
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and capable of building initiatives from scratch.
  • Enjoy working autonomously, setting goals, and solving problems daily.
