We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to strategically support and lead the HR activities in Italy. You will join a regional team of HR professionals across EMEA to collaborate on regional projects.

ROLE DETAILS :

Reporting to the Regional HR Director, you will be present at our factories in Bottanuco, Castenedolo, and Melzo, serving as the primary contact for colleagues and managers and fostering collaborative relationships.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to drive Greif’s HR policies at the global, regional, and local levels within Italy, as part of the EMEA HR team.

TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

  • Coach and support managers to achieve business objectives, ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
  • Maintain local HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation, adapting to legislative changes.
  • Manage recruitment, talent development, learning & development, and performance management in line with regional and global frameworks.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance in HRIS processes and data management in Workday.
  • Prepare for and serve as the contact for audits (SOX, external audits).
  • Supervise labor law issues and proceedings.
  • Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and lead change management initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Ideally hold a Master’s degree.
  • Be present on-site 3-4 days per week.
  • Significant HR experience managing second-level contracts, union relations, and Italian labor law.
  • Experience working within a multinational, matrix organization in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrate agility in adapting to business changes.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
