Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Country Financial Manager to lead all financial activities within a specific location. This role requires a qualified accountant with experience in managing accounting, tax, and financial aspects essential for scaling our business in the country.

• Responsibilities
• Financial Management: Oversee and develop all financial activities, including accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting, with a focus on improving period-end closing.
• Compliance Reporting: Prepare and manage ledger entries, payroll, tax benefits, and contributions reports for regulatory bodies such as social security, insurance, pension authorities, etc.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Reconcile all balance sheet accounts, including banking, customers, vendors, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Cash Flow and Reporting: Monitor daily transactions, maintain up-to-date books, and prepare comprehensive financial and administrative reports.
• Tax Submissions: Ensure timely and accurate submissions to tax authorities (VAT, CIT, Social Security, etc.).
• Payroll Oversight: Ensure payroll accuracy, oversee payroll software selection and integration, and resolve related issues.
• Audits: Manage audits within your country.
• Projects: Manage accounting and non-accounting projects such as software implementations and process improvements.

Requirements :

• Qualified Accountant: ACCA / CPA or local equivalent.
• Experience: At least 5+ years as an accountant in high-tech companies, with strong financial management and compliance knowledge.
• Payroll Expertise: Experience with Payroll ERP systems, preferably Netsuite.
• Global Exposure: Experience working in diverse international environments.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and office tools.
• Communication: Excellent English verbal and written skills.
• Attributes: Self-motivated, autonomous, detail-oriented, and problem-solving mindset.
