It is the largest independent specialty finance in Italy and leading player in Europe, specialized in the management and non-recourse factoring of trade receivables due from the Public Administrations. The Group is also leader in Italy in the Securities Services and bank Payment Services business.

We are currently looking for a:

COST MANAGEMENT PROFESSIONAL

Purpose of the role:

We are currently looking for a candidate for our Finance & Administration department, in the Planning & Control team. He/she will be entrusted specifically with cost management and will be involved in the ordinary activities at local level, in gathering info from the foreign subsidiaries as well as in implementing new tools and instruments for developing and strengthening the area, dealing with the following activities:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Month End closing, ensuring correct representation of costs by nature of expenditures, cost center and orders
  • Manage costs activities during Forecast, Budget and Industrial Plan processes, ensuring completeness and consistency of information received by all organizational units (local/branches/subsidiaries), also performing ad hoc analysis
  • Prepare and manage costs reports at Group level, declined by nature of expenditure, cost center, organizational units to be sent and shared with costs owners (local/branches/subsidiaries), both on Actuals and Fcst/Bdgt scenarios
  • Create and manage cost management processes and tools, defined and standardized for the Group as a whole
  • Manage purchase orders activities vs budget, in order to ensure no expenses exceed approved budget levels
  • Maintain and update informatic tools used in order to ensure on-time delivery of all costs activities and reports
  • Constant relationship with all Group units, including foreign subsidiaries, in order to guarantee consistent representation of costs throughout all Group legal entities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree preferable in Economics/Business Administration
  • Previous experience in the role as Cost Controller at least three years gained in medium-structured and international companies
  • Fluent Italian mandatory, excellent English both oral and written
  • Excellent command of the Office package, in particular Excel
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines; analytical skills and high attention to details; ability to set priorities and give clear directions; result-driven personality and high energy complete the profile
