Your responsibilities

• The Cost Estimator will be part of a proposal team for international studies and EPF projects (Engineering, Procurement, and Fabrication).
• Responsible for calculating service packages and complete delivery packages for green hydrogen products and services.
• Support global Business Development & Sales Teams with standardized processes and proposal documents.

Main responsibilities and contents

• Coordinate and prepare cost estimates for budget proposals up to binding fixed-price offers, including studies and service calculations.
• Involve relevant engineering, delivery, project management, and commercial disciplines.
• Work closely with Bid Controlling and the proposal team.
• Ensure timely and quality-assured preparation of overall calculations, collaborating with subsidiaries and partners worldwide.
• Benchmark with completed or ongoing orders.
• Perform plausibility checks and determine key figures.
• Contribute to the development of calculation tools and undertake occasional short business trips for coordination.

Your profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in chemical plant construction or similar environment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and database systems.
• Sociable, proactive, team-oriented, and conscientious.
• Excellent Italian and English skills, both written and spoken.
• Willing to undertake occasional international business trips.
