Competenze

The Cost Engineer will be responsible for managing and controlling all aspects of project costs, including budgeting, estimating, forecasting, and cost reporting for projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, cost estimates, and cost plans
  • Monitor project costs and provide accurate and timely cost reports to project stakeholders
  • Review and analyze project cost variances and recommend corrective actions
  • Conduct cost risk assessments and develop contingency plans
  • Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely cost forecasting
  • Provide support to project managers in developing cost control strategies
  • Participate in project meetings and provide cost-related updates and recommendations
  • Collaborate with procurement and contracts teams to ensure cost-effective purchasing and contracting strategies
  • Review and evaluate change orders and claims for cost impacts
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to cost control and reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited university.
  • Work experience of eight (8) years in the sought discipline after earning degree.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands-on experience in offshore projects.
  • Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write reports
