The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis within the fashion industry, fluent in English and Italian, and skilled in Microsoft Office. This role offers a full-time opportunity to shape the finance function while collaborating with senior management.

Marni Group is seeking a

Cost Controller

to join the Finance team at its Headquarter in Milan.

The role provides financial support and strategic direction, playing a key role in deriving insights based on business sense. It includes supporting, challenging, and driving business projections and investment decisions. You will foster financial acumen and budgetary ownership with business partners to improve forecast accuracy and build trust by delivering compliant financial statements and managing risk. Additionally, you will participate in Group finance projects and workstreams to shape the finance function for the future.

As part of the HQ Finance Team, your main tasks will include:

• Leading and coordinating all financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities related to Group costs (industrial and operational)
• Monitoring costs budgets throughout the year and assessing impacts on P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Developing tools and dashboards to monitor KPIs, share insights, and recommend actions
• Providing ad-hoc analysis on overall costs and expenses, covering direct and indirect costs
• Identifying efficiency savings projects and recommending actions to reduce the overall cost ratio for the Group
• Collaborating with various functions and establishing strong relationships with the Finance Team and Senior Management
• Leading predefined processes with the Group Accounting Team in Shared Service Center and intercompany parties
• Enhancing the existing Cost controlling function in line with business needs

Qualifications / Experience :

• A university degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance/Economics, with at least 5 years of experience in financial analysis and controlling, ideally in the Fashion industry
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and independently recommend and implement process improvements
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office at a professional level
• Experience in data analysis, visualization, and related tools
