Competenze

Our client is a Multinational company with a remarkable presence worldwide and a fast growing business.

In order to expand the structure, we are looking for a Cost Analyst & Product Controller, hierarchically reporting to the Head of Product Controlling.

Primary Function
  • You will have the responsibility to define detailed material costs evaluation in coherence with the affordable technology in terms of investment and the related R&D expenses.
  • Along the project life cycle, you will support the components costs plausibility verification in collaboration with Procurement Department, R&D Department with the aim to avoid deviations and delay in the project milestone deliverable and supplier nominations, you will also work close to the Model Lines and R&D functions looking for measures for Development costs containing.
  • Analyze original project targets by components including plausibility checks for Strategy Team and benchmark with current and new competitor’s models.
  • Analyze parts and material manufacturing costs (e.g. overhead costs, materials costs, process costs etc.) according to R&D technical requirements including benchmark with current and new competitor’s models.
  • Analyze R&D costs bottom up in the early stage of a new projects together with the strategy department.
  • Cooperate with VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) Procurement Dpt. to grant consistent targets based on tradeoff between supplier’s proposal, technologies state of art and budget available.
  • Assuming an active role in the 5 year planning for the R&D car costs either for the series or for the pre-series models.
  • Discussing and revising with Model Line & the R&D functions the specific year end forecast in order to guide the expenses within the affordable Capex Target.
  • Be the finance representative in SET (Simultaneous Engineering Team) meetings, manage the necessary information through the finance department and be responsible for variable costs and investments management during product lifecycle with special focus on Aeko commitment.
  • Ensure and update reports and trends preparation both for Material and Development costs.
Qualification/Requirements
  • University Degree in Economics or Engineering.
  • At least 3/4 years’ experience in R&D controlling, cost engineering teams or purchasing.
  • Experience in production, development processes and/or purchasing is a plus.
  • Successful accomplishment of a vehicle project from concept to SOP is a plus.
  • Cost engineering skills (Value analysis, value engineering, design to cost,..) is a plus.
  • Experience with vehicle planning development process is a plus.
  • Usage of cost engineering software (Siemens PCM, Lean cost,..) is a plus.
  • Economics & accountancy basics.
  • Project management skills.
  • Proactivity and fast reaction to new requests.
  • Fluent English, Italian & German will be considered a plus.
  • Analysis and problem solving.
  • Precise and careful.
