The Role
As a Controller, reporting to our Finance Business Partner and Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the company's Budget, Forecast, Planning, Business Plan and closing activities.
Responsibilities
- Support in the managing of the full closing process (monthly, yearly, half-yearly) for OPEX, CAPEX, and overheads’ expenses, ensuring accurate and timely completion. This involves assisting the accounting and controlling team with P&L preparation by cost center and BU, as well as the calculation of accruals, deferred items, and provisions.
- Provide support for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business plan preparation.
- Ensure the overall variance analysis across Actual, Budget, and Forecast.
- Monitor and evaluate the business profitability and cost control of the different business areas, ensuring cost-saving initiatives are implemented to improve efficiency and cost control activities.
- Preparation of Monthly Management Report for BoD.
- Assist with finance transformation projects, including setting goals, developing project plans, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
- Support the update of internal procedures through analysis, mapping, and re-engineering of procedures related to Finance, HR, and Business, ensuring compliance.
- Assist the Finance Team with the preparation of audit documents and potential financial due diligence.
This role will be a great fit if:
- You have at least 3-4 years of experience in a similar role (an experience in an Audit Firm or SaaS/Digital/Media/Adv/IT Software Industry will be considered a plus).
- You possess a Degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar fields.
- You have strong knowledge of Accounting Rules (Balance Sheet and Income Statement) and proficiency in accounting software. Experience with Oracle NetSuite/Oracle NSPB will be considered a plus.
- You are fluent in Italian and English.
- You are detail-oriented.
- You have strong time management and organizational skills, enabling you to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
