Position: SW Control Engineer

The candidate will contribute to developing demonstration boards using High Voltage Power Components for applications such as DC-DC converters, On Board Battery Chargers, and Traction Inverters, which will be offered to potential customers.

The role encompasses product development from definition to final application testing. Responsibilities include designing control strategies and logic for the power train and communication interfaces, selecting appropriate microcontrollers, developing control software using Model Based Design with Matlab/Simulink, integrating control software with basic software, and validating on test benches and target boards.

The engineer will support Marketing and Sales during technical promotion, maintaining contact with customers and distributors during the product design-in phase. Support for hardware and software design-in will be provided, and after-sales technical support will be available.

Profile

• C/C++ expertise
• Model Based Design and automatic code generation
• Knowledge of embedded software constraints (memory, execution time)
• Version control (GIT or SVN)
• Knowledge of power electronics and switching converters
• Experience with laboratory instruments (oscilloscopes, power sources, loads, signal generators)
• Microcontroller and motor control algorithm implementation
