Job Title: Contracts Manager – North Italy

Department: Contracting

Location (primary): Italy – home based. Alternatively, London or Palma office

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Consult and agree with the Director of Contracting on specific product requirements.
  2. Expand WebBeds portfolio by analyzing market trends in the destination and finding new opportunities.
  3. Ensure hotels are re-contracted and available for sale within specified deadlines.
  4. Organize regular visits to hotels to build and maintain relationships; frequent business trips are required.
  5. Negotiate and contract rates, special offers, allocations, added-value deals, overrides, and other special deals to ensure competitive market rates and increase booking volume.
  6. Monitor competitor pricing and availability regularly in line with demand.
  7. Analyze weekly sales reports to identify market trends and growth opportunities.
  8. Advise on preferred partner hotels, negotiate exclusive deals.
  9. Address and resolve standard/service level issues with suppliers.
  10. Ensure hotel details (photos, amenities, etc.) are updated regularly.
  11. Support suppliers with tools and procedures, including extranet demonstrations.
  12. Assist with group placements as needed.
  13. Manage supplier relationships throughout the contract period, including deal closeouts and liaising with relevant departments.
  14. Coordinate with Health and Safety teams for report completion and updates.
  15. Communicate professionally both internally and externally, adhering to corporate guidelines.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge:
  • Contracting experience within the tourism industry and established relationships in the Italian market.

  • Ability to develop and maintain trusting relationships with hoteliers.
  • Stakeholder management skills and professional presence.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English.
