As a Contract Risk Mitigation Manager, you will prepare proposals/bids, negotiate contracts, meet contractual commitments, and assess business risks. Develop an operational plan for your department and contribute to the larger unit’s plan.

Responsibilities of a Contract Risk Manager mitigation include:

• Validating risk and reward balance, considering terms and conditions, technical risks, margin, and security of payment within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.
• Handling products and systems requiring technical knowledge, with some customization within guidelines.
• Contributing to frameworks for prices and conditions, with room for negotiation and client-specific conditions.
• Managing diverse clients in a region.
• Leading contract negotiations.
• Handling local focus on medium-sized territories.

Qualifications for success:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• Proven 5-10 years of professional experience in contract and risk management, legal, and commercial aspects.
• Excellent negotiation skills and understanding of legal requirements.
• Experience as a legal expert.
• Strong oral and written English skills; knowledge of German, Spanish, French, and Italian is a plus.
