- Your responsibilities
- You craft, evaluate and negotiate a wide variety of contracts covering a range of transactions in relation to projects for the HZI product range
- You collaborate closely with Business Development, Sales, Project Execution, Finance, Insurance and other internal departments
- You work closely with our senior leadership to identify commercial strategies and transactions. You understand non-recourse bank financed construction projects.
- You evaluate project constraints and give appropriate and actionable input
- You assess, negotiate, propose mitigation and document commercial project risks
- You may have to administer contracts, incl. claim and change management of contracts with clients, partners and suppliers, incl. management of commercial formal correspondence.
- You implement HZI’s processes and procedures in accordance with company policies
- Your experiences
- You have a legal education (Bachelor / Master) with 8+years’ experience as Contract Manager, in the energy or construction sector and in common or civil law jurisdictions, preferably for non-recourse bank financed projects
- You have sound understanding of laws of England & Wales, as well as various contractual forms (e.g. Fidic, IChemE, NEC, Orgalime etc.) and civil law concepts.
- You have excellent drafting abilities combined with communications skills up to C-level
- You have a clear business acumen, sound commercial and business knowledge and excellent negotiations skills.
- You can handle ambiguity, adept in conflict resolution and a fast-paced environment.
- You are structured, detail-oriented and a self-starter.
- You are a confident, resilient, discreet, trust-building personality with open mind, who enjoys working in multicultural environments and is interested in circular economy.
- Fluency in English and Italian, German is a plus
