A specialized recruitment agency is looking for a Contract Manager in Milan/Rome. The ideal candidate should have a law degree, at least 5 years of experience in EPC projects, and fluency in both Italian and English. Competenze

Overview

Greentalent is a recruiter specialized in search and selection of professionals and managers in the Energy, Engineering and Environment market. On behalf of a global leader in solutions for energy transition and circular economy, including Energy from Waste and Renewable Gas, we are looking for a:

The ideal candidate has a solid and proven track record in comparable roles, gained within turnkey EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) projects for industrial plants or large-scale infrastructures, demonstrating familiarity with the full project lifecycle — from contract negotiation and execution to delivery and post-completion management.

He/She will play a pivotal role in the contractual, legal, and commercial management of the assigned execution projects, acting as the company’s representative in all related matters — including the oversight and administration of consortium agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and support during negotiation of commercial contract conditions with clients, partners, suppliers, and subcontractors;
• Support local and main office procurement, in particular in the alignment with public procurement laws;
• Take responsibility for ensuring that the administration of the client contract and the consortium agreement are carried out in accordance with contract and legal obligations;
• Take responsibility for change management and claim administration, at all times pursue out of court dispute management and settlement.

Requirements

• BSc/MSc degree in law is preferred; technical qualifications in addition are also welcome;
• Solid knowledge of the Italian Public Procurement Code framework (D.lgs. 36/2023);
• At least 5 years postgraduate experience in comparable function within an EPC or a General Contractor;
• Good quality drafting of contractual correspondence and claim documents;
• Fluency in Italian and English, both spoken and written.

Background in engineering, interpersonal skills and international mindset will be considered a plus.

Location: Milan/Rome, with flexibility.
