A leading international consultancy firm is seeking a Contract and Finance Expert for an EU-funded project in Italy. The candidate should hold a degree in accounting, finance, or economics and have 5+ years of experience in contract and finance administration in challenging contexts. Proficiency in English and an EU working language is essential. The role involves managing project finances and ensuring compliance with procedures.

Overview

NTU International A / S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called : EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.

The overall objective of this assignment is to :

• strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
• contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
• improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;
• inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration

The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree or equivalent in accounting / finance / economics.
• Proficiency in English and EU EOM working language (C1).
• Knowledge of contractor accounting systems and EC procedures.

Experience

• Cat. II : 5+ years / Cat. III : 2+ years in contract / finance admin.
• Experience in difficult environments.
• Election observation mission finance (asset).
