This Position reports to:

Production Engineering Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will support the deployment of the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will deploy and lead projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

Work model: #LI-Hybrid

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Analysis of the production processes and study and implementation of improvements with focus on lean manufacturing, automation and digitalization.

  • Participate in the sequence definition, cycle time calculation and analysis of the working phases of new production processes/products.

  • Preliminary supplier involvement and co engineering approach finalized to the Purchase Order of new equipment, or modification on the existing automated production lines. Manage engineering changes impact on existing processes.

  • Manage the Company equipment linked to Industry 4.0.

  • Support to the already present Company sustainability transition and develop new ESG Projects, according ABB declared mission.

Qualifications for the Role

  • Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Robotics, Automation, Management, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Previous experience in production, quality, or design is considered an asset.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office.

  • You are at ease communicating in English and Italian, both written and spoken.

  • Excellent networking and team collaboration skills.

  • Proactive attitude, problem-solving ability, and strong focus on achieving results.
