Job Description

Consumer Marketing Manager:
Representing the voice of the consumer for Philips in the Market and being responsible for delivering measurable business impact (Growth, Consumer NPS, and Brand Preference) for the Mother & Child Care in Personal Health Business with consumer-focused propositions through the creation and implementation of the 24-month integrated consumer-centric Marketing plan in the Italy, Greece, and Israel zone.

Your role:

  1. Responsible for effective BMC (Business-Market-Combination) planning based on granular Source of Business analyses: partner with Business Marketing & Sales leaders to build the BMC handshake and ongoing performance management against plan. Orchestrates the BMC process and secures BMC targets with the Consumer Marketing Leader and Channel Leaders across all BMC for the overall product portfolio in the Market.
  2. Drives demand generation and ensures that business performance meets KPIs such as yearly sales, market shares, and Integral Gross Margin (IGM) through price realization and product mix in the Zone, A&P, and marketing ROI.
  3. Develops and implements the 24-month rolling Integrated Marketing Plan (LMAP) based on Personal Health IIG Strategy and Brand strategy in the Zone. Collaborates cross-business and cross-cluster to ensure all consumer-facing marketing activities are covered in the Zone.
  4. Manages portfolio marketing, including omni-channel calendar and portfolio management (phase in/phase out). Works with the Shopper Excellence Manager to determine the product portfolio, setting up and executing roadmaps for new product introductions or updates, and phasing out existing products to ensure market availability with low stock costs.
  5. Collaborates with Trade & Shopper marketing team to initiate and execute local trade marketing actions and promotions to stimulate sell-out and loyalty. Optimizes the offline and online shelf, including portfolio, price points, and promotions, to drive brand preference, increase conversion, and basket size.
  6. Allocates local A&P spend effectively as input for AOP cycles and BMC planning to secure the best investment mix (Consumer, Shopper & Media).
  7. Works with Insight & Analytics team to validate local Source of Business and provide consumer insights on consumers, market, trends, shopper profile, and competition.
  8. Localizes global content and creates local content (influencers, PR, etc.) in collaboration with the Media team.
  9. Champions the voice of the customer and manages a holistic customer experience, including omni-channel calendar and portfolio management.

You will report to the Consumer Marketing Leader under the coordination of the Marketing Team Lead. You will collaborate with many teams and stakeholders at local (Italy, Israel, Greece) and European levels.

You're the right fit if you have:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration with a major in Marketing)
  • At least 5 years of experience in consumer marketing, especially in activating marketing plans in B2C environments, ideally in the child/mother care industry.
  • Category marketing capabilities, including knowledge of online and in-store KPIs such as Assortment Share, Promo/Flyer Share, Share of Shelf, Secondary Placement, and Stock Availability.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
  • Strong analytical skills with proven track record, proficient in Excel.
  • Global agility, international mindset, consumer-centric, data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and take ownership with results-oriented approach, negotiation skills.
  • Passion for health and personal care matters.
