What you will do

As a Consulting Sales Engineer in the Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pumps domain, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by developing relationships with consultants and end users. You will use your strong systems application and product knowledge to actively seek to be the preferred sparring partner for consultants and customers. This position requires a motivated individual who is driven to seek and develop new business and ensure that Johnson Controls products are specified.

Your passion to support customers from project conceptualization with the right solution will be key to success.

How you will do it

• Engage with consultants, end-users, and other stakeholders in the Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump industry, with a key focus on consultants.
• Leverage technical knowledge to ensure the specification of Johnson Controls products.
• Prepare and manage proposals to meet customers' application and operational needs.
• Drive customer engagement, develop relationships, and foster a strong network within the industry.
• Collaborate with and support the sales team to identify opportunities and close sales.
• Own the delivery of our value proposition to stakeholders and decision-makers.

What we look for

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or equivalent through experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in Consulting Technical Sales, Design, or Application within the Industrial Refrigeration & Heat Pump domain.
• Strong technical subject matter expertise and awareness of market trends.

• Ability to influence consultants in their technical project choices.
