Job Description:

Start Date: May 2025

End Date: 12 Months+ extension possible

Capacity: 5 days a week

Responsibilities:

• Help customers plan, design, and implement Cisco products, services, and solutions.
• Drive technology design, implementation, execution, and optimization for customer projects/accounts.
• Work with customers to plan, design, configure, and diagnose Cisco’s products, services, and solutions.
• Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance.
• Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution designs.
• Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate complex problems and compatibility issues.
• Create and deliver customer collateral, portals, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
• Align technical deliverables with customer business outcomes.
• Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.
• Support policies and processes, utilizing relevant tools to execute the role effectively.

Specific Tasks:

• Collaborate with customers and internal/external resources on strategy, deployment, and optimization of Cisco services and solutions.
• Take responsibility for task/project implementation for customer engagements.
• Contribute to new implementation techniques and share lessons learned.
• Create and review project deliverables such as design recommendations and implementation plans.
• Build/test environments to resolve complex problems.
• Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot Cisco products using software skills and tools.
• Develop digital intellectual capital like scripts and signatures.
• Act as an initial point for problem resolution in customer engagements.

Scope:

• Work with other Consulting Engineers to meet customer needs effectively.
• Interact with contributors, managers, and customers.
• Provide input to sales on technology solutions.

Complexity:

Work on moderately complex problems, evaluating multiple solutions before deciding on the best approach.
