The M&A team is expanding and seeking a motivated, detail-oriented entry-level Environmental Engineer/Environmental Specialist to support EHS audits and sustainability initiatives.

Based in Milan with flexible working arrangements, the role involves frequent travel within the country.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct environmental, health, and safety (EHS) audits for mergers, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance.
2. Perform ESG audits to identify risks and opportunities for sustainable development.
3. Assist project managers with research, report writing, and proposal preparation.
4. Manage multiple project tasks, including proposal development.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of relevant EHS experience or interest in sustainability/ESG consulting.
• Master’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental management, or related fields.
• Specialization in energy, civil engineering, or experience in sustainability/carbon sector is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (C1); knowledge of French and/or Spanish is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Italian EHS legislation; familiarity with international standards is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, travel, work independently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong commitment to client responsiveness and meeting deadlines.
