Job Opportunity: Due Diligencer

Our client, an international real estate investment company, has entrusted us to find a suitable candidate for their team as a Due Diligencer.

This role involves:

  1. Conducting technical real estate due diligence to verify the transferability, use, and transformability of properties.
  2. On-site inspections for viewing and surveying properties.
  3. Verifying, with external consultants' support, documentation related to building compliance, cadastral conformity, usability, and restrictions.
  4. Assessing the condition and status of systems and supporting the preparation of economic estimates for potential upgrades.
  5. Assisting Project Managers in evaluating and analyzing possible real estate transformation projects.
  6. Coordinating with legal, financial, and tax departments to finalize due diligence reports.
  7. Preparing technical documentation for transactions (e.g., cadastral data, authorization procedures, energy certificates to be transmitted to notaries).
  8. Setting up Data Rooms for future tenants and/or potential buyers (vendor due diligence).
  9. Managing, coordinating external consultants and companies for any building or cadastral adjustments through authorized processes or minor construction works.

Experience in sectors such as retail, residential, and hospitality is required.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma as a surveyor or degree in architecture or civil/building engineering.
  • Experience with authorization processes and knowledge of building, cadastral, fire prevention, and safety regulations (D.Lgs. 81/08).
  • Basic understanding of real estate transfer procedures.
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Office software.
  • Proficiency in English.

Compensation:

Either freelance with VAT number or permanent employment after a trial period. The role involves local travel within the city and daily trips across Italy.
