Job Description

The Planner / Scheduler is responsible for advanced planning, scheduling, progress measurement, change management implementation, and analysis across major or multiple smaller projects. A thorough understanding of policies, methods, and procedures, including advanced planning and scheduling techniques, risk analysis, risk management, and supporting project objectives, is essential.

• Implement project planning and scheduling strategies, plans, and procedures, reflecting both company and contractor roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
• Coordinate the development and implementation of project Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) with project leads and controls teams, aligned with Project Execution Plans.
• Prepare staffing, engineering, construction progress, and customized reports.
• Perform probabilistic analysis on integrated and contractor schedules.
• Conduct schedule analysis, critical path analysis, and schedule risk analysis for the entire project.
• Analyze deviations from the baseline schedule, identify bottlenecks / delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Contribute to the monthly project report and other specific reports or presentations regarding planning and scheduling.
• Assess the schedule impact of variances or change orders.
• Develop resourcing plans for all project phases, identifying peak resource requirements and recommending peak leveling strategies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in project controls and time / schedule management, preferably within the Life Sciences / Pharma sectors.
• Extensive experience with project scheduling tools, preferably Primavera P6.
• Ability to coordinate multiple sources of schedule data into a master schedule and generate project status reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Tenacity and problem-solving drive to add value and create solutions.
• Ability to develop strong working relationships within project teams.
