Where we need your help
- Organize and coordinate all activities on large construction sites, across all trades, up to the acceptance of all packages, in close collaboration with Discipline Leads.
- Coordinate regularly with contractors to ensure smooth operations and mitigate potential hazards.
- Monitor the execution and assembly, track progress, and verify the quality of work.
- Take responsibility for the entire construction site, including safety, budget, and schedule adherence.
- Prepare cost estimates, execution schedules, site facilities plans, and preconstruction reviews before projects commence.
- Conduct daily site meetings during execution to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Lead the construction team, motivate and support team members, and interface with customers regarding site issues and measures.
What you bring along
- Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering Degree (Master/Bachelor) or Diploma with at least 15 years of experience, including a minimum of 10 years in the role.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations.
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, CAD, PDF handling, document management systems).
- Understanding of QAQC handover requirements.
- Attention to detail.
- Self-confidence, negotiation skills, conflict assessment abilities, and a focus on environmental, health, and safety considerations.
- Team player with adaptability and practicality.
- Experience in managing decentralized engineering teams and maintaining team spirit during challenging project phases.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Results-driven, eager to learn, and supportive of team members.
- Experience leading construction supervisors and interfacing with engineering departments.
- Ability to ensure compliance with procedures, permits, and drawings.
- Monitoring contractor performance and progress, including subcontractors.
- Organizing construction activities to minimize interference and resolve discrepancies, deviations, and delays.
- Record-keeping of all relevant activities as per project documents.
- Participation in workshops, review meetings, and project/team meetings.
- Reporting to the Project Manager.
