FUNCTIONS

If you are looking for a professional experience where you will be responsible for managing and supervising all Construction activities of the Energy Business Unit of our client Italy, with a focus on engineering and construction projects for photovoltaic plants (EPC) and on Operation and Maintenance (O&M) services.

Functions

• Responsible for managing and supervising all Construction activities of the Energy Business Unit. Your mission is to lead the unit's activities ensuring quality, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction in the execution of each project, while promoting the reputation and expansion of our client.
• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the team in Italy, aligning human resources with strategic and operational objectives. Support in the search and selection of profiles. Monitoring of new hires.
• Project and Operations Supervision: Coordinate the different Site Managers overseeing all projects, supervise and ensure compliance with quality, cost, and deadline objectives in EPC and O&M projects, and support Contract Management tasks, in accordance with our client's standards and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate the Construction phases of photovoltaic projects, supporting from planning and design to execution and closure, ensuring rigorous monitoring of resources and planning.
• Support the local team in project development, from initial phases through execution and closure.
• Assist in resolving issues with Italian administrations (permits, documentation, etc.).
• Define project execution strategies with local partners.
• Analyze construction problems and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee project risk management, including corrective action plans.

Strategy and Stakeholder Relations

• Act as a point of contact for the Spanish HQ in Italy, establishing and maintaining trustworthy relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and strategic partners in photovoltaic projects.
• Identify collaboration opportunities with partners and subcontractors in Italy, supporting new project development and offers.
• High-level contact with subcontractors to support contract closure and problem resolution.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (preferably Energy, Civil, Industrial, Electrical, or related fields); MBA or postgraduate in project management is valued.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in project management, specifically in Construction, EPC, and O&M projects. Experience in photovoltaic projects is highly valued.
• Willingness for national and international mobility as required by projects.
• Skills: Experience in Construction and Optimal Strategies, strong leadership and negotiation skills, excellent communication, advanced contract management, project planning, and cost control in EPC/O&M projects. Fluent in Italian and English; Spanish knowledge is a plus.
