Position: HVAC Supervisor (Civil)

The HVAC Supervisor directs subcontractor activities within their discipline, ensuring that plant construction works are completed according to schedules, project documents, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards, as well as subcontract terms.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure timely maintenance of HVAC equipment.
  2. Schedule HVAC system installations.
  3. Verify that supplier material and technical documentation are delivered as per schedule and contractual commitments.
  4. Review and approve subcontractors' Method Statements, ensuring correct application on-site.
  5. Implement all HSE procedures and standards for assigned areas or activities.
  6. Participate in site HSE activities as per the site plan.
  7. Monitor schedule adherence and initiate actions to recover delays.
  8. Verify adequacy of subcontractors' equipment and manpower, and compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
  9. Conduct inspections and sign off on necessary certificates.
  10. Maintain non-conformity registers and coordinate resolutions.
  11. Identify and rectify design errors or coordinate with Site Engineer for changes.
  12. Review and approve subcontractors' work progress sheets.
  13. Assist in defining new prices, preparing contract amendments, and analyzing claims.
Qualifications
  • University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
Experience
  • Experience in construction or modernization of large petrochemical or EPC projects.
  • Strong management experience with subcontractors in EPC projects, large/XL plants.
  • Minimum 5 years in the specific discipline.
  • Proven experience in similar roles in recent large projects.
  • Experience working on the contractor side.
