Activity & Main Responsibilities

The HSE Manager is appointed for major projects and in case of Consortium or ATI. He reports to the Site Manager and is responsible for:

1. Supporting and monitoring the implementation of the Tecnimont HSE Policy and HSE Management System at site.
2. Performing Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participating in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
3. Verifying the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and all related procedures, and preparing revisions as needed.
4. Updating HSE documentation throughout all construction phases when necessary.
5. Ensuring Subcontractors perform their activities in accordance with all applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards, and promoting necessary actions to ensure compliance.
6. Organizing, planning, and participating in periodic HSE walk-arounds, inspections, and audits on site, preparing relevant reports and action plans, and verifying follow-up and corrective actions.
7. Organizing and coordinating HSE training activities on site.
8. Participating in all relevant site HSE meetings.
9. Collaborating with the Client regarding work permits.
10. Investigating work accidents to identify corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
11. Maintaining accident records and identifying areas for prevention.
12. Promoting personnel indoctrination and training.
13. Leading and coordinating the Site HSE Committee activities.
14. Leading and coordinating the site emergency response and fire prevention teams, organizing training and drills.
15. Preparing the HSE section of monthly progress reports and other periodic reports.
16. Updating HSE statistics, verifying performance against project and corporate HSE objectives, and proposing recovery plans if needed.

Knowledge & Qualifications

Your skills are:

• An undergraduate degree in Construction Management or relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Construction and Oil & Gas or Petrochemical Industry involving heavy construction sites with mechanical, electrical, and piping installation.
• Knowledge of OSHA construction regulations and lockout requirements.
