Job Description

The Company

Role

The HSE Supervisor reports to the HSM. They verify and ensure all activities comply with the TCM HSE Policy, regulations, standards, and procedures, promoting preventive and corrective actions as needed.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Perform Job Hazardous Analysis (JHA) and participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
  2. Verify the adequacy and application of the Site HSE Plan and related procedures, and prepare revisions as necessary.
  3. Update HSE documentation throughout all construction phases as needed.
  4. Ensure subcontractors perform activities in accordance with applicable HSE procedures, regulations, and standards, promoting adherence.
  5. Organize, plan, and participate in periodic HSE walks, inspections, and audits; prepare reports and follow-up actions.
  6. Coordinate and participate in site HSE training activities.
  7. Participate in all relevant site HSE meetings and prepare minutes of meetings (MOM).
  8. Collaborate with the client on work permit issuance.
  9. Investigate work accidents to identify corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  10. Maintain accident records and identify areas for preventive action.
  11. Promote and facilitate personnel training and indoctrination.
  12. Lead and coordinate the Site HSE Committee activities.
  13. Lead and coordinate the site emergency response and fire prevention teams, organizing training and drills.
  14. Prepare HSE sections of monthly and periodic progress reports.
  15. Update and analyze Site HSE Statistics, comparing performance against project and corporate HSE objectives and targets.
  16. Propose recovery plans in case of performance gaps.
