TECNIMONT, MAIRE’s flagship company for Integrated E&C solutions, seeks a Construction and AWP Engineer to join the Construction Engineering Management function. The initial assignment will be defined by the candidate's background, with opportunities in Construction Engineering and Advanced Work Packaging within an international EPC environment.

Within Construction, these disciplines collaborate to plan, coordinate and execute engineering, procurement and construction activities.

Competenze

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Construction Engineering or Planning Engineering on international projects.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills; ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with professionals from different technical backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools; availability for temporary assignments abroad.

Mansioni

  • Support the planning, coordination and monitoring of construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Contribute to development and review of construction execution strategies, methodologies and work sequences.
  • Interface with Engineering, Procurement and Site teams to address construction requirements.
  • Monitor construction progress, identify constraints and support corrective actions; collaborate to improve execution efficiency.
  • Support analysis of construction performance indicators and project execution data.
  • Support implementation and continuous improvement of Advanced Work Packaging methodologies across projects.
  • Develop and monitor EWPs, CWPs and IWPs; ensure work package readiness.

Tecnimont is looking for Construction and AWP (Advanced Work Packaging) Engineer to join the “Construction Engineering Management\" Function.

The initial assignment will be defined based on the candidate's background, experience and professional interests, with the opportunity to be involved in activities related to both Construction Engineering and Advanced Work Packaging. Within the Construction Function, these disciplines work in close collaboration to ensure that engineering, procurement and construction activities are effectively planned, coordinated and executed. Through exposure to both areas, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to develop a comprehensive understanding of project execution, construction planning and field operations, while building a multidisciplinary skillset within an international EPC environment.

Key Activities & Responsibilities
Construction Engineering
  • Support the planning, coordination and monitoring of construction activities throughout the project lifecycle;
  • Contribute to the development and review of construction execution strategies, construction methodologies and work sequences;
  • Interface with Engineering, Procurement and Site teams to ensure construction requirements are properly addressed;
  • Monitor construction progress, identify potential constraints and support the implementation of corrective actions;Collaborate with construction sites and project teams to improve execution efficiency and productivity;
  • Support the analysis of construction performance indicators and project execution data.
Advanced Work Packaging (AWP)
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Advanced Work Packaging methodologies across projects;
  • Contribute to the development, management and monitoring of Engineering Work Packages (EWPs), Construction Work Packages (CWPs) and Installation Work Packages (IWPs);
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Control and Construction teams to ensure work package readiness;
  • Monitor construction constraints and workflow dependencies, supporting the timely resolution of bottlenecks;
  • Contribute to reporting activities and performance analysis related to AWP implementation;
  • Promote construction-driven planning principles to improve project predictability, productivity and execution efficiency.
Requirements & Skills
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil/Structural Engineering;
  • 3-5 years of previous experience in Project Engineering, Construction Engineering or Planning Engineering roles on international projects;
  • Proficiency with English language, both written and spoken;
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with professionals from different technical backgrounds;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital tools;Availability for temporary assignments abroad, according to project requirements.

The following will be considered a plus:

  • Knowledge of multidisciplinary EPC projects and understanding of Oil & Gas construction processes and execution sequences;
  • Site experience and/or international assignments;
  • Knowledge of 3D modelling software and digital construction tools;Additional foreign language(s).
Contract Type and Classification
  • Contract type: Permanent
  • Applicable collective agreement (NCLC): Chemical and Chemical-Pharmaceutical (identification code B011)
  • Job classification level: White Collar Employee, consistent with job requirements and applicable Collective Agreement
Compensation

The initial gross annual salary for this position, paid over 14 monthly installments, will be € 40.000.

The compensation package will include the applicable elements of the Collective Agreement as well as benefits provided under company agreements, including flexible benefits and a participation bonus.

Any additional variable components and/or benefits, regulated by Standards, Policies and/or company agreements, will be illustrated during the selection process.
