STMicroelectronics cerca un/una Ingegnere Meccanico/a specialista per il team Central Construction presso lo stabilimento di Agrate. Sarai responsabile della progettazione di base degli impianti meccanici e della gestione di fornitori per nuovi progetti, partecipando al ciclo dall'idea al collaudo e vendita.

La posizione richiede laurea in ingegneria meccanica e familiarità con schemi meccanici ed elettrici, nonché competenze in AutoCAD e modellazione 3D.

Competenze

  • Laurea in ingegneria meccanica o equivalente (minimo).
  • Laurea magistrale preferita in ingegneria meccanica o equivalente.
  • Esperienza o conoscenza di sistemi meccanici per microelettronica o siti di produzione farmaceutica (preferibile).
  • Capacità di leggere e comprendere schemi meccanici, elettrici e strumentali.
  • Conoscenza di AutoCAD e software di modellazione 3D (Revit, Navisworks, ecc.).

Mansioni

  • Definire la progettazione di base degli impianti meccanici per nuovi progetti, supportato dal team leader.
  • Preparare le specifiche per la disciplina meccanica.
  • Verificare la documentazione tecnica e le quotazioni fornite dai fornitori.
  • Verificare l'allineamento delle attività di installazione con specifiche, sicurezza ed ambiente e le pratiche ST.
  • Garantire l'esecuzione puntuale delle installazioni meccaniche e monitorare scostamenti.
  • Gestire riunioni settimanali con i fornitori e redigere dettagli MoM.
  • Approvare datasheet e documentazione dei Contractors entro le scadenze.
  • Assicurare l'uso degli strumenti di gestione progetti da parte dei Contractors.
  • Partecipare a meeting periodici e aggiornarsi sull'avanzamento delle attività meccaniche.

YOUR ROLE

You will be part of the Central Construction team, a worldwide team dedicated to the design and construction of the new infrastructure and facilities necessary for the manufacturing. You will join the team dedicated to the Agrate site, following all the phases of the new projects, from conceptual design to detailed design, construction, start-up and commissioning of the new facilities. You will be part of the Mechanical team. As Mechanical specialist you will be in charge of following the activities of the packages related to the discipline ensuring to keep them aligned with time, quality and budget defined. You will be asked to collaborate with the team members and to ensure an efficient sharing of the information among the people of the team and with the other people of the Construction group. You will work to define the new projects needs according to the production tools requirements and, working with the other disciplines involved in the team, to provide all the information necessary to the possible Contractors to fulfill their scope. Your role of Mechanical specialist, includes the following main activities:

  • Define the basic design related to mechanical plants for new projects, supported by team leader
  • Prepare the specifications for the mechanical discipline
  • Validate the technical documentation and quotation provided by the Contractors
  • Check and ensure that the installation activities, carried out by contractor personnel, are compliant with specifications, safety and environmental rules and any applicable STMicroelectronics standard and good practices
  • Ensure the on-time execution of mechanical installation, with follow-up of works, highlighting any deviation versus the specifications and/or schedule
  • Lead weekly meetings with the assigned Contractors and write detailed MoM
  • Provide the necessary approvals of datasheet and Contractors' documentation within the standard due date
  • Be accountable for the usage of the available tools for project management by the Contractors
  • Participate to periodic meetings and be constantly updated about mechanical activities progress with suppliers and STMicroelectronics team
  • Ensure the collection of final documentation related to the mechanical disciplines
YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

Candidates that best fit this role should have/be:

  • (minimum) Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, energetic engineering, nuclear engineering or other technically equivalent degree
  • (preferred) master degree in mechanical engineering, energetic engineering, nuclear engineering or other technically equivalent degree
  • (preferred) experience or knowledge of mechanical systems for microelectronics or pharmaceutical production sites
  • (minimum) able to read and understand mechanical, electrical and instrumental schematics
  • (preferred) knowledge of Autocad and 3D modeling softwares (i.e. Revit, Navisworks,…)
  • Good analysis, problem solving, synthesis and reporting capabilities
  • Good teamwork ability
  • Good communication and documentation skills
  • Good knowledge of English and Italian language both written and spoken

The expected salary range for this position is € 33.000- €45.000 gross annual salary (RAL), plus variable pay relevant for the role. In accordance with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and applicable Italian legislation, this compensation range has been determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including job responsibilities, required skills, relevant experience, qualifications, and market benchmarks. Placement within the range will depend on the candidate’s profile and demonstrated competencies. The final offer will be made in compliance with the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL), where relevant, and our internal compensation policies.
