The Role

As Construction Director, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of this landmark project. From pre-construction through to final handover, you will oversee every stage of the build, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, innovation, and efficiency.

You will work closely with key stakeholders, managing relationships with clients, contractors, and supply chain partners. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring exceptional project management skills and a deep understanding of large-scale data centre developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of a flagship data centre project, from design and pre-construction to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring expectations are exceeded.
• Manage the onsite team and supply chain, driving performance and upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Provide strategic oversight to ensure timely, on-budget, and regulation-compliant project delivery.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• A strong track record in managing large-scale, technical construction projects.
• Extensive experience in data centre development, ideally in a client-facing or developer role.
• Proven ability to oversee projects from concept to completion.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience working with hyperscale customers.
• Fluency in Italian and English is essential.
• Relevant qualifications in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, Construction, or Building Services (HNC or above).
