We are fortunate to have a great team, and we appreciate their help in achieving our objectives. As an Environmental Compliance Analyst, you will support the company's environmental initiatives, with a focus on EPR (Extended Producer Responsibility) regulations.

The role is based in Milano and reports to the Senior Manager, Environmental Compliance, within the Legal Compliance and Sustainability team.

Key responsibilities include :
  1. Monitoring compliance with EPR legislations, such as Packaging and Packaging Waste, Batteries, and WEEE Directive.
  2. Engaging with external sustainability consultants and local EPR Schemes.
  3. Ensuring timely submission of environmental declarations with internal stakeholders and sustainability consultants.
  4. Supporting the preparation of EPR prevention plans.
  5. Responding to third-party audits.
  6. Partnering with the tax department on plastic packaging tax regulations.
  7. Managing EPR contracts with legal and internal teams.
  8. Monitoring invoices and environmental costs, and preparing financial reports.
  9. Maintaining data sets for the EPR program.
  10. Travel may be required but limited.
  11. Supporting other sustainability initiatives and administrative tasks.
  12. Participating in working groups for environmental regulation compliance.
Requirements include :
  1. Degree or equivalent in Economics or Environmental Studies.
  2. Strong computer skills, especially in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  3. Analytical skills for quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  4. Attention to detail in data analysis.
  5. Understanding of EPR standards and implementation.
  6. Experience with environmental audits is preferred.
  7. Knowledge of standards like ISO14001 is preferred.

Candidates should have accuracy, strategic thinking, numerical skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
