Remote Legal Associate

We are seeking a skilled Legal Associate to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of employment and commercial law, with a strong focus on Italian regulations.

  • Develop and maintain employment agreements, contractor arrangements, and HR policies in compliance with local and international laws.
  • Provide guidance on labor law matters, including dismissals, benefits, and remote work compliance.
  • Negotiate complex contracts with clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments, translating them into actionable insights.
  • Lead internal compliance processes, ensuring data protection, labor law reporting, and risk management.
Requirements:
  • Law degree with 3–5 years experience in employment and/or commercial law, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong knowledge of Italian employment law, especially contracts, dismissals, benefits, and remote work.
  • Experience in commercial law, reviewing and negotiating B2B and SaaS agreements.
  • Familiarity with international legal environments, including cross-border employment and compliance.
  • Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and research skills.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
