Overview

Position available in Munich, Luxembourg, Iasi or Milan.

We are looking for a DSA Compliance Officer. In this role, you will work closely with our DSA Compliance team and 60+ partner teams on the management of the EU Digital Services Act (DSA).

You will support the development and implementation of operational compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices. You will assist in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of key operational risk indicators, areas of improvements, and recommend appropriate action. You will support our annual audit process and help explore new tech and AI solutions to streamline and increase efficiency within our audits. You will partner with numerous Amazon teams, including Legal, Public Policy, Product Quality, Brand Registry, Product Safety, Advertising, and several other business, product, and tech teams.

You should have demonstrated experience supporting large-scale programs across a matrixed organization. You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to use data analysis to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

Regulatory Compliance :

  • Support the development and implementation of operational compliance oversight frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure adherence to the DSA and potentially other EU product-related compliance regulations.
  • Participate in gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and recommend required changes to Amazon's business practices;
  • Work alongside Legal, Risk, and business stakeholders to help maintain and update compliance policies and control frameworks.
  • Support the annual audit program from a program management perspective, including exploring new ways to streamline and increase efficiency within the audit, including through automation, data scraping and GenAI
Compliance Advisory
  • Support the delivery of accurate and timely second-line compliance advice to the business, in conjunction with stakeholders;
  • Help evaluate compliance risks and analyze compliance requirements within new and existing business propositions and product launches;
  • Partner with the business to implement appropriate controls and mitigation strategies.
Subject Matter Expertise
  • Develop expertise and serve as a knowledge resource for the business on key regulatory topics;
Risk Monitoring and Reporting
  • Track and document compliance risks and issues, collaborating with internal risk management teams (Risk Management, InfoSec) to identify necessary mitigation steps;
  • Assist in the provision of regulatory reporting and external audits.
Training and Awareness
  • Help develop and deliver training programs on compliance matters to the Compliance organization and the wider Amazon business;
  • Support a culture of compliance and risk awareness across the organization;

The Trustworthy Shopping Experience EU team covers product safety, product compliance, product quality for our Retail and Seller businesses in UK and EU stores. For the EU DSA law, our Compliance Office partners with 60 teams across Selling Partner Services, Ads, and Shopping orgs to ensure Amazon’s DSA compliance.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk / loss prevention, or equivalent
  • Experience handling confidential information

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials
  • Experience with SQL and Excel
  • Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
