We assist our clients in the strategic development of their businesses, providing M&A advisory, acquisition finance, capital raising in debt and equity markets, strategic equity financing, project finance for infrastructure and real estate sectors, and capital markets solutions for investment and hedging across asset classes. We also lead in green & sustainable finance to support clients' transition towards sustainability.

Under the authority of the Chief Compliance Officer (CCO), the Compliance Officer ensures that the Milan Branch complies with Group rules and local regulations concerning:

• Prevention of money laundering, combating corruption and terrorism financing, sanctions, and embargoes
• Adherence to Professional Ethics, Market Integrity, Clients' Interests, and other compliance rules
• Implementation of compliance controls and follow-up of action plans
• Updating and deploying compliance policies and procedures

The scope covers all activities of Natixis CIB Milan Branch.

Main responsibilities and duties:

• Implement a consistent compliance framework (policies, controls, training)
• Define and update compliance policies, rules, standards, and methodologies
• Ensure employee compliance with internal rules and identify conflicts of interest
• Monitor regulatory developments in the area
• Analyze compliance risks and issues, advising decision-makers and raising alerts as needed
• Support Business teams through due diligence, audits, and guidance
• Participate in implementing the RCSA, Risk Appetite, and Control plans
• Handle regulatory reports as instructed by the CCO
• Assist in AML/KYC, sanctions, and Market Abuse controls, especially with teams in Porto
• Escalate issues appropriately to CCO and Management
• Maintain up-to-date compliance procedures and registers
• Report to management and contribute to the Compliance committee
• Review new operations, services, or products for compliance
• Perform analysis on MiFID-related topics

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in law, accounting, finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of compliance experience, preferably in Corporate Investment Banking
• Knowledge of corporate banking, credit, and treasury operations
• Proficiency in MS Office tools
• Understanding of the regulatory environment in Milan
• Teamwork, adaptability, interpersonal skills, and integrity
• Attention to detail and confidentiality
• Strong organizational and time management skills
