About the job

You will be part of the Product Development Department which is accountable for the development of fuel supply systems and high-speed separator modules for the marine industry. The team is based in Monza (Italy) with offices also in Tumba (Sweden) and Shanghai (China).

The Quality Team is composed of 4 members in Monza and one in Shanghai.

Our vision is to secure that the Quality Department is a valued, strong contributor in designing innovative, reliable, and quality products that exceed industry standards.

The purposes of the Quality Department are:

  • Ensure projects and products quality.
  • Ensure product compliance to applicable standards.
  • Ensure product safety by leading the execution of risk assessments on products.
  • Solve customer claims related to product design by the application of methods for root causes analysis.
  • Write and manage the documentation of the products.
  • Manage the test area of the Product Development Department for the execution of R&D testing activities, trainings, and new product launches.

Main tasks of Compliance Engineer are:

  • Support other Product Development Department’s functions for the implementation of rules and standards.
  • Define the QCP for products.
  • Be chairman of risk assessments on new products adopting EN 12100, FMEA, HAZOP, or other methods.
  • Write documents, procedures and reports related quality assessment.
  • Handle claim investigations.
  • Manage quality improvement projects/activities.

Who you are:

  • Self-driven and able to lead self and others.
  • Analytical, Structured and Proactive
  • Scrupulous with high integrity
  • Good communicator in speech and writing.

What you know:

  • Degree from higher technical education or equivalent (chemical or mechanical engineering)
  • Experience from working in quality department of structured companies preferably in marine sector.
  • Knowledge in rules and standards, knowledge of marine rules is a plus.
  • Fluency in Italian and English (verbal and written)
  • Availability to travel in Europe and far east up to 10% of the time.
