A global transportation leader is seeking a Competitiveness Manager for their Savigliano site in Italy. The role involves managing competitiveness plans, ensuring the completeness of reference libraries, and supporting tendering activities. Candidates should have a degree in Engineering or Business, with at least 5 years of experience in the railway industry. For our Savigliano site in Italy, we are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Competitiveness Manager.
Purpose of the job:
The Competitiveness Manager will be in charge of the platform, ensuring the completeness of the reference library and its continuous monitoring versus QCD objectives, managing competitiveness plans on the platform’s products, reference libraries and reference solutions, and supporting pre-tendering and tendering activities.
Key accountabilities:
The Competitiveness Manager will also prepare and present Ref Lib reviews, support the Platform at pre-tendering and tendering stage, and hold reviews with bid cost managers to check QCD offering alignment with Ref Lib.
Performance measurements:
Educational Requirements: Mandatory - Engineering degree and/or Business School.
Experience: Mandatory - Minimum 5 years of experience in industry, with experience in Railway industry, Costing, Engineering, or Sourcing in similar industry, and Design To Cost.
Technical requirements: Project Management and/or Industry background, ability to recognize product and associated costs, understanding of operational flows, and sufficient awareness of financial rules and contractual aspects.
Behavioural requirements: Results and data driven, rigorous, able to give structure to collective team work, leadership to achieve results and benefits, collaborative management, and ability to deliver on-time.
