Job summary

Swanton Care and Community is seeking enthusiastic, compassionate Support Workers to help people live independently in their own homes within the Norwich area. You will provide practical help and emotional support, following individual care plans and working 36 hours per week with days, evenings, nights and weekends shifts as needed.

The role includes completing care records, lone working and teamwork, and upholding a compassionate ethos aligned with our PRIDE values.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and compassionate attitude to support people with dignity.
• Experience in caring or supporting individuals preferred but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to achieve goals in line with their support plans.
• Promote health, well-being and Beliefs of the people we support in an inclusive way.
• General housekeeping duties including shopping and personal care elements.
• Complete a range of records and documents.
• Lone working and team-working.
