Title of the project: "Citizens’ opinions on the criteria for the allocation of scarce public resources: antecedents and effects" - the position holder will be required to develop a high-quality research project on the following topics: (i) the analysis of citizens’ opinions regarding the criteria for allocating scarce public resources aimed at defining intervention priorities in the domains of health, social, or educational policies; (ii) the analysis of the structural and sociodemographic, psychosocial, and individual psychological factors that influence the formation of such beliefs; (iii) the analysis of deliberative and decision-making processes related to the allocation of public resources in which these criteria guide decision-making; (iv) the analysis of the effects of decisions concerning resource allocation priorities on perceptions of (in)justice and on individual and collective behaviors aimed at asserting one’s rights.
